Welcome To The Student & Family Services Department
The Gary Community School Corporation Student Services serves students K-12 to gain an understanding for their learning. It encompasses a student’s entire support network, including the Student Services staff, administration, parents and community to be a part of developing the student into a successful, productive citizen. We are committed to providing the support needed to ensure every student succeeds.
The Department of Student Services encompasses, but is not limited to, the following: School Nurses, School Counselors, Social Workers, Interventionist Specialists, Alternative Education, Discipline, Security, Drop Out Prevention, Student Registration and the McKinney Homeless Education. Student Services focuses on meeting the holistic needs of all students while supporting academic achievement. Parents/guardians may contact Student Services for additional information or may contact the school their child attends.
