MISSION STATEMENT

   The staff of the Dr. Bernard C. Watson Academy for Boys, parents, and the community are committed to challenging each child to develop his maximum potential in all social, academic, and cultural endeavors. To accomplish the challenge, all teachers assume the responsibility of ensuring that each child succeeds in the acquisition of knowledge and skills derived from the use of an interdisciplinary curriculum and effective instructional techniques.  Each student will acquire a positive character and caring values, which will contribute to becoming a productive citizen in
our ever-changing global and technological society.

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT GOALS

• All students will demonstrate proficiency in vocabulary across the curriculum.
