(Gary, IND) – The Gary Community School Corporation (GCSC) is proud to announce the launch of its redesigned, family-friendly website, going live on August 4, 2025, just in time for the new school year. This exciting update underscores the district’s ongoing commitment to enhancing communication, improving transparency, and providing families with the tools and resources they need to thrive.
The new website was developed with parents, students, and the community in mind. In addition to providing essential information, it will serve as a central hub of resources designed to support families both academically and beyond the classroom.
One of the most anticipated features of the website is the addition of individual school newsfeeds. Parents and community members will now be able to follow school-specific updates and activities without relying solely on social media. This enhancement ensures that families remain connected and informed in real time.

The district will continue to use Skyward as the primary Student Information System for families to view grades, attendance and important information but the new platform provides another reliable way for families to stay connected to their child’s education.
In addition to improved communication, the launch of the new website aligns with GCSC’s ongoing efforts to boost enrollment by making the processes easier to navigate.
